BLVCK BLOCK offers invaluable insights, critique, and encouragement tailored to the individual artist's needs, fostering technical proficiency and artistic expression.
Mentorship provides a platform for aspiring artists to explore various mediums, techniques, and concepts while receiving constructive feedback to refine their craft. BLVCK BLOCK mentors play a pivotal role in imparting practical knowledge about the art industry, navigating the complexities of exhibitions, networking, and professional development.
By investing in the mentorship and training of developing visual artists, we cultivate a new generation of talent and sustain the rich tapestry of artistic innovation and cultural discourse. This investment requires conducting extensive market research on behalf of artists, networking with collectors and the general public, providing publicity and developing a centralised marketplace specifically for art in Southern Africa.

Visual arts exhibitions serve as crucial platforms for emerging artists to showcase their work, gain exposure, and establish themselves within the art world. These exhibitions provide invaluable opportunities for artists to present their creative vision to a broader audience, including art enthusiasts, collectors, critics, and gallery owners.
Through exhibition participation, emerging artists can receive feedback and validation for their work while fostering connections and networking within the artistic community. This avenue enables artists to refine their presentation skills, develop a professional portfolio, and gain recognition for their creative endeavours.
In addition, they can elevate their visibility, expand their opportunities for collaboration and representation, and ultimately advance their careers in the ever-evolving landscape of contemporary art. Exhibitions, therefore, are BLVCK BLOCK’s access-to-market programme for emerging artists.
